Yo! My name is Kevin, and I'm a decolonizer of food, art, and health. I'm a Chicano first-generation child of inmigrantes Mexicanos from Sur San Francisco. In 2016, I founded Farming Hope in San Francisco to provide employment opportunities in food for folks experiencing homelessness. With my writing, I hope to honor my ancestors and work towards a better future within my community. Currently, I'm working on a collection of poems about anxiety and promoting positive mental behaviors as well as an ancestral Mexican cookbook. In my free time, you can find me listening to hip hop and rap and on the dance floor with friends.
